The Secular Party of Australia is fighting for true separation of church from state.

We believe that reason and science should form the basis of all government decision making, rather than fear and superstition. In particular, our Party promotes freedom of and from religion.

The Secular Party of Australia differs from the major parties in that our platform is both socially and economically liberal. To this end we support human rights, freedom of expression and economic freedom without resorting to free market fundamentalism.
